Shine

I cannot see for the sun
which seems to be
all the brighter
for the evening.
I have reached the place
Where sky and earth merge;
the summit of the day.
Though vallied and alie in dusk
in this moment
I shine
in alpenglow.
There is no one else
but me
and this old sol.
